'Heirloom' may be used by schools, youth theatre and amateur drama groups free of any charge. The contents of the play must not be altered in any way and the author's name must be used on any programmes and publicity material. The author requests to be notified of any such performances in advance, preferably by e-mail, so that reference may be made to them on the web-site.
Those choosing to perform the play will need to have access to a creative musician to provide original musical scores to accompany the lyrics. Composers may credit themselves with having scored the music on any related publicity material. If they wish, they may make their music available to others wishing to perform 'Heirloom' at a later date and may use this web-site for the purposes of sharing such information.
Those wishing to use 'Heirloom' for commercial purposes will not be entitled to free use of the script and must negotiate their contract with the author and his agents.
